4) A successful HR person should have full control over manpower cost and budgets.
5) Policy formulation and strict enforcement for implementation should be followed.
6) To deal with trade unions, you should be thorough in labor laws. Call them for a friendly discussion until you establish good rapport and become an HR business partner at their work to sort out their day-to-day issues and build their trust.
7) Establish a good rapport with all related government officials; this is crucial to ensure the business runs smoothly.
8) Develop a good training plan that will consistently help line managers groom their team members. All line managers should be provided with good leadership programs to enhance their knowledge of current market trends.
9) Advise management on succession planning for critical and key positions in the organization. Personally, take care of this requirement to ensure it receives the utmost importance.
