All such organisations have clear rules for leave during training period. Better consult your HR/personnel department for correct information.

Dear Deepti,
This is in addition to what Mr Nathrao has said. Any organisation, whether government or otherwise advises newly joined trainees to refrain from taking long break during the training. Far from long break, they are not even given long leave between the training.
To get the government job, one has to appear for competitive exams. For every selected candidate, candidature of one thousand others or even more is turned down. Amidst this, it is advisable to postpone a marriage for an year.
Occasionally, in the course of training, few trainees fall sick. Because of their prolonged absence owing to the sickness, their training is terminated and they are told to join in the succeeding batch. However, trainee's wedding cannot be compared with the sickness as former is planned event and latter is thrust by the destiny.
Marriage is not just happy union to two souls but it is lifelong too. What lasts for lifelong, can it be postponed for an year? Please ask this question to yourself!
Thanks,

Dear Deepti,
There is nothing prevent one to go for leave but the nature and duration of leave[death in family, sickness are considered in priority) is taken ito consideration.
As Mr Nathrao and Mr. Divekar has rightly suggested. You need to move through your department head to help to get the leave. No one mind to allow for a week days leave.
It is always advisable to avoid leave for the petty matters and attracts to the mind of employer. Our society has not yet broad enpough to understand at this day.
Further leave should not be repeated during the remaining part of training or otherwise employer may consider negetive.
