Hello Team, My Query is about withdrawal of PF of Dead employee.I am working as HR-Executive and i need your suggestion in this particular case. An employee \"A\" was working in our organisation till 10th July 2017 but due to road accident she expired on 17th July 2017.. what are the procedures and how their family can withdraw her PF. who is the nominee for withdrawal the PF. Bcz She is Married. Her Mother intimated (writing) to our company that, don't Process PF for her Husband because Husband is not having good behaviour and he is also alcoholic person. So please confirm who is the Nominee for withdrawal the PF Amount in this case.

Please confirm who is the nominee mentioned in her PF records.
If on papers, its her husband, then organization is liable to pay that amount to the nominee person. No letter or mail will be void in front of the declaration provided by employee. We and law will only go by papers, irrespective of all verdicts provided offline.
Employer has to keep all required ID proofs and declarations from the employee nominee for future reference.
