Dear Sir/Madam,
One of my friends is working as a fixed-term employee since February 2017, and her contract is set to expire in February 2018. She is covered under ESIC. She recently applied for maternity leave for her first child starting on December 1st, 2017. However, the management at her company has denied her any paid maternity leave, stating that she needs to claim it through ESIC. Additionally, she has been informed that her contract will not be extended, and it will end in February 2018.
I would appreciate any advice or suggestions you may have regarding this situation.
Regards,
