Does an employer needs to deposit any fine / penalty imposed on employee (deducted from CTC) to Labour welfare fund?
Employer has imposed double LWP for one day uninformed leave to employee. The org. falls under bombay shops and establishment act.
Is there any such written notification available on any website? Should variable component be a part of CTC or it should be apart from CTC, If a part of CTC then the difference amount of variable is considered as fine / penalty?

If the employee coming under the purview of Wages Act then any such punishment which is not prescribed under Wages Act will be illegal & void abinitio.
Those who don't fall under definition of Wages Act for those employee can impose self drafted fine/punishment.
