Suppose on 1st of any month no of employees= 250
Employee joined during the month= 20
Employee left during the month= 5
Total no of employees excluding leaving= 250+20=270
Attrition rate = 5/ 270 x 100= 1.85%
The calculation shown in the excel sheet is, in my supposition is wrong.
