One of our employee was member of EPF in 2008-09 now who want to transfer the PF amt to his present PF a/c how to search the pf number and how to transfer which is already inactive.
Please suggest.

Dear Sikander,
Online transfer won't be possible in this case. You can either go for manual transfer process by submitting form 13 or you can advise him to withdraw older pf. To check his PF number, you can check older yearly returns or receipts or check for previous annual statements which earlier was provided in hardcopy from PF department.
