You don't have to do anything to file half-yearly returns. As everything has now become online, it's done automatically. You'll be able to view it under the RC section in your login ID for ESIC.

Though filing of half year return is done away with, it is better to obtain print of the same to reconfirm that all monthly remittances have been received by ESIC.

Dear Mayuri,
Nowadays, feeding the Aadhar number of the employee and their family members is the only requirement. You have to enter these details using the employer ID in the employee's account. If the ESIC number is Aadhar enabled, then the ESIC Pehchan card is not required. If an employee doesn't have an Aadhar card, then first, you have to fill in all the details in their number and take a printout of TIC. Then, ask the member to take that TIC and visit the ESIC office in your area for an ESIC card. If there are many employees, you can contact your nearest ESIC office, and they can even come to your location for the ESIC card.

Manish

Feeding the Aadhaar becomes compulsory. Once the feeding has been done, the employer should attest the e-Pehchan Card with a family photograph. ESI has done away with Permanent Card procedures. The employee or their family members should carry the e-Pehchan card along with their Aadhaar Card for treatment or any purpose in ESI.
If the employee loses or damages the e-Pehchan Card, they have to get it again from the employer only.
PS: The employee does not require to carry the service continuation certificate (Form 37) to get treatment or other facilities.
