Basically, the employer contributes 12% of your basic, and you have to contribute 12%.
From the employer's side, as far as I know, it is just 12%; but you can contribute more than 12% under the name of VPF.

- Employees drawing a salary (Basic + DA) equal to or more than ₹15,000, for them PF is optional.
Deduction:
- 12% employee share
- 12% employer share (From the employer's end, the segregation is as follows: 8.33% goes to EPS i.e. Employee Pension Scheme and 3.67% as PF contribution).
Apart from this, EDLI and Admin charges are also added.
