Please find attached the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Rules 2017, which were notified on June 15, 2017. According to the Rules, every establishment is required to publish, preferably on its website, an equal opportunity policy for persons with disabilities. This policy should outline the facilities and amenities to be provided, as well as the posts identified for such persons. Additionally, every establishment must comply with standards related to the physical environment, transport, information and communication technology, among others. Documents to be placed on the website should be in Electronic Publication (ePUB) or Optical Character Reader (OCR) based PDF format.
