Respected Mentors,

Greetings for the day!

I need your help to know about the PF withdrawal process as my employer has denied to cooperate for the same. I left the organization without serving the notice period, though I had sent a resignation email to my manager looping in my HR and accepted to buy out my notice period as my family issues didn't allow me any more time to continue with my job. HR agreed to the buyout, and my FnF formalities are pending for completion. I tried arranging finance for the same, but as the amount is a bit high, I am not able to pay that amount at this point in time. Hence, I offered one solution to HR that I will withdraw my PF and then clear the dues, to which they denied, stating this is not possible due to compliance issues (Though I know no employer can deny to sign the PF forms). I read in a thread on CiteHR that by getting the sign-off of any gazetted officer, one can withdraw the PF amount. I followed the same, but my form got rejected by the EPF office, stating that I need to get documentation done from my employer.

I am stuck at this point and don't know how to get the PF amount. Please suggest.

Best Regards

Many facts are hidden in the post. How many years of contributions paid under EPF? Is your UAN KYC compliant? This means bank account, Aadhaar, and PAN are digitally approved by the employer. Is the UAN activated or not? Are the Name, DOB, Relation name, and relation perfect in the UAN Database? If the UAN data is perfect and UAN is KYC compliant, then the employer has no role. The employee has no role in withdrawal, UAN-based forms without employer attestation would work.

Hi Mr Sharma,
Thank you so much for the information. I served this organization for 1 year and 3 months and since my joining my PF contribution was deducted from my salary. I provided all the required information to my employer such as aadhar number and PAN number. While I tried checking my UAN account details on PF website "https://uanmembers.epfoservices.in/" but this website is not accessible anymore. Everytime I open this website I get an error "This site can’t be reached". Due to this website issue I am not able to check whether my employer has updated my aadhar and PAN details in my UAN or not.
Please suggest if there is any other way I can go for to check these details.
Thank you once again for taking out your valuable time and sharing your thoughts on this.

Hi Sir, I tried using this portal but neither is resets my password nor I am able to see any other option working. I tried contacting PF support helpline 1800118005 but that number always comes busy.

Here is the error message I get every time, irrespective of whether I am activating UAN, trying to reset a password, or checking UAN status:

CallableStatementCallback; SQL [{call COMMON_POPULTE_DDL.GET_STATE_LIST(?)}]; Closed Connection; the nested exception is java.sql.SQLRecoverableException: Closed Connection.
