I was terminated on 30th October 2016 and was given one month notice period to serve by employer.
I want to know is it mandatory to serve one month notice period in case of termination, will i still get one month salary lieu without serving notice period as i was terminated by employer?
My manager told i wpuld have to serve as i wont get salary, instead today he gave me transfer letter to a different city where i cannot move to immediately to serve one month notice period else i shall not get one month salary?
Can a company force you to move to different city for one month notice period?
