Rates applicable for Engineering Units are different based on the number of workers engaged. For units with less than 50 workers, different rates apply compared to those with more than 50 but less than 500 workers, and those with over 500 workers.
Kindly confirm, and please find the rates for units that have engaged more than 500 workers. The Engineering Wage Board Notification dated 15th May 2000 provides the following rates applicable in UP for workers above 50:
Grade of Workers: Basic + VDA (01.08.2016) = Total / PM
- Unskilled: 2660 + 5182.60 = 7842.60
- Semi-Skilled: 2925 + 5698.90 = 8623.90
- Skilled: 3190 + 6215.30 = 9405.30
