Dear All,

I am seeking assistance with email etiquette, specifically how to respond politely as an HR professional in various situations. Is there a URL or resource available that can guide me in drafting HR-related emails, covering a range of scenarios such as scheduling interviews, sending offers, making introductions, rescinding offers, addressing grievances, and sending birthday/anniversary wishes?

Thank you in advance for any help provided.

Regards,

There are formats available on the internet that you may use. However, there is a risk in unrestricted usage of what is readily available on the internet. These ready-made formats will never improve the quality of your writing. You could keep on doing copy and paste forever.

You need to work under some senior person who corrects your drafts. Nevertheless, in the 21st century, it is difficult to find a senior of this kind. However, there is no better way to master drafting skills. You may read books or download something from the net, but factual feedback is necessary.

Thanks,

Hi Dinesh,

Thank you for your reply. I share the same opinion as you, and I am looking for something to help me improve my email drafting skills. I prefer not to simply copy and paste. As an HR professional, I understand that every word in an email is important and must be carefully crafted.

Could you please recommend any books or websites that can help me enhance my email drafting skills?

Thanks & Regards,
Sandhya
