Hi,
I am currently Working in a MNC Company but now i have decided to abscond it. As i have a geniune family reason for my abscond, though i have words with my HR,RM,RO and Mgr reagarding my transfer to my hometown location. As they considered my family issue, and released me from my project. Now, its been 4 months here yet not get relocated to my hometown nor tagged any project in my hometown, its simply - i am on bench from the day i got released. I tried many connections both in my hometown side as well as at my current workplace location, but they told we wont be able to transfer as there are no projects in my hometown. So, you talk to your HR in case of a geniune reason. I spoke to my HR, he told me "whether u are the best performance in this organisation but as there is a policy we wont be able to transfer you".
Is it so? can't i get a single transfer as i have my geniune reason to get relocate to my hometown?
I applied Internal job within the organisation though i knw that i would be again going into probation period for 6 months though i have completed my probation period of 6 months and also an official employer of this organisation. But, still i applied it and didnt get selected as per there requiremnts. As, i was a fresher though, completed my 3 months training in my hometown and relocated to this current place and immediately got tagged into one projct and delivered two application to client with a feedback as excellence. Reason behind this delivernce is i used to work consistently 14 - 15 hrs (11am to 2am)
I have mentioned my work details to my HR, but he repeatedly saying me "You may be the top most performance of this batch or organisation, as per policy i wont be able to give transfer"
SSLY? if a person is havng a geniune reason and he might do a very well for his organisation keeping all organisation benefits on their side, still he wont get a transfer to his hometown simply? cause policy is more important? is it? though i mentioned that i am ready to work in any shift and ready to chnge my skillset also ready to stretch my working hours but please transfer me to my hometown. But, they didnt do it, always camed up to a single reason "POLICY". Now, as i am the only child for my family and want to improve my skills set thus, by improving my career in a real life environment, i came into the decision of apsconding.
So, if you think i did a right thing, and yes then please suggest me that should i mentioned my work experience of my previous compny though i was for a 11 months in that MNC? or if i mentioned does it will matter me some case or something? what should i do? please do comment and share your suggestion on it.
Thanks in advanced

Transfer is not your right. You cannot claim a transfer as a right irrespective of your personal or other issues. On the other hand, company can transfer you to any location provided that such clause is in the terms of appointment for exigencies of work.
No matter whether you are a single child, or have worked hard or ready to shift to other stream, the company has done nothing illegal in not transferring you to your hometown unless there is requirement for the company.
Since you have already left the organisation/ absconding, hopefully the company will steps proper legal steps.

Thanks for responding Riteshmaity.
But, if you could place urself in my place then what would you have done to do next? Because, I have seen other IT companies where they value their employees.
And For me, "If we value our employees, the same values and respect will get for our client too"
So, i dont know whether i have done a right thing or a wrong thing, but if they dont understand their employees, then i dont think it would help me to stay in such type of environment.
Though he was ready to work for hours and was ready to work in any shift, not only this was also to change is skill set, still they didnt turned up very well to him, atleast they could have send him to his hometown on a deputation policy for 1 month so that he can take care of his parents and simultaneously, worked from hometown too, but these people didnt do that, instead, they told him to go on ur own leaves, which also the other issue for him as he was facing a financial issue too.
So, in this case, if he is not willing to take loan cause already he was paying loan amount from his salary (75% of his Sal), and these people were telling him to take loan or go on ur own leave. As going on leave for atleast 15 days will cut the amount 50% of your salary.
The thing is i am not blaming the policy or some other thing, if the employee is having a genuine emergncy issue, then company should stand with him and do the needs. Instead of that, the HR who was talking to me acting like he was so professional, but after getting hitted by my straight questions, he rudely said "Get Out!! Go take care of your parents and give the resignation" iS this a professional behaviour??
Thus, if you could find me some suggestion on this, that will surely help me
then I will be looking forward to it.
Thanks in advanced
