Hi It is very difficult to change your profile from Finance to HR. Generally Finance personnel are paid higher than HR

Anything is possible in this world if one has the will. But carefully examine your motivations and reasons for wanting this change. Do you feel the finance profession is not okay for you, and you want a change?

In finance, which is your area of interest? If you are taking care of any compliances, then it may work for you. In many companies, the compliance-related part is taken care of by the HR department. You can help in F&F and other processes like payroll calculation, etc.

I worked as an analyst in a stock advisory company. Now, I don't want to continue in the same field as I have lost interest in the share market. Right from the beginning, I was interested in HR, but during my college years, I did not have the option to choose HR as an elective. I pursued dual specialization in Finance and Marketing, with Marketing being compulsory. Now, I am keen on pursuing a career in HR. Is it possible for me to transition into HR now?

May I know the reasons to change? Basically, it was a big question whenever you will attend the interview. HR professionals also get a good amount of salaries and hikes compared with other departments.

As I mentioned from the beginning, I have had an interest in HR. However, due to college rules, I couldn't choose HR as an elective. After that, I landed a campus job in finance, and it continued for five years. Recently, I took a short break from my career, and now I want to pursue HR, something I didn't do five years ago.

I am just wondering, is it possible for me to make the transition now and enter the field of HR?
