According to the Factories Act of 1948, an establishment employing 500 or more employees (including contract workers) should have an ambulance room equipped with prescribed items under the law. Additionally, it should have medical and nursing staff who will be readily available during the working hours of a factory.

DISH authorities specify the type of medical facilities that should be available depending on the nature of the industry:
a. Hazardous.
b. Continuous processing plant.
Other issues are also taken into account. Therefore, please clarify from the DISH Department only.
