Dear Pemmarajuswetha,
Your approach to the contributing members in this forum seeking advice for your query is not proper. You must very well aware that, in this forum, there are more senior HR professionals are sharing their experience by giving suitable advice for the needed members. I think you are in HR personnel and improve your language in approaching any body even may be your subordinate .
Now coming to your query, as such there is no minimum qualifying period to admit any body as a Member of Employees Provident Fund Scheme, 1952 irrespective any category of employees. Even if he worked for less than one month also you have to deduct his share. There was earlier 240 days in 1973, then 120 days in 1980, after 60 days and lastly 30 days. Now as on today the EPFO has removed this eligibility criteria.
