Dear Seniors,
In my previous company there is no HR Person who can take care of F&F settlement and all, so i wanted all your guidance to help me in this.
i submitted my resignation on 29th July and left the organisation on 20th August(short fall of 9 days), and till date i have not received any F&F amount.
my basic salary in my last organisation was Rs.9510 and Rs.1141 they used to deduct for pf.
so i wanted to know since i did'nt worked for the entire month in august will there be any pf deduction, if yes then how much, because i have worked for only 20 days.
please give me your valuable feedback on this.
Thanks&Regards

Dear Gaya,
The PF will be deducted. So if you have worked for 20 days, then 9510/31*20 *12% will be your PF deduction.
Coming to F&F, if HR is not there it is normally done by the accounts people. so contact your accounts team, also check with the appointment letter clause, to know the repurcations in regards to short serving of the notice period.

Dear Ashutosh,
Thank you for your reply I also wanted to know for how many days will I receive the salary for 20days or for 11days (20-9=11) because they are telling me that it will be for 11days which I don't understand why.

Dear Gaya,
If it says in your appointment letter that their is salary recovery if you do not complete your notice period, then th 9 days salary is being recovered from you, so, 20 days (working) - 9 days (short notice) = 11 days (salary). They are recovering the salary for the short notice.
So now the PF deduction will be 9510/31*11 *12%.
Read your appointment letter clauses clearly to understand the terms and conditions as you would have signed them when you joined them.
