Dear senior,
(1) Our company follows CTC method. Employees , getting basic 15,000+ are given option of joining EPF . Many employees wish to invest somewhere else and don't join EPF. In any case company pays the same amount.
(2) Should company continue with the same practice or make EPF mandatory
(3) What is in the best interest of employers & employees

Dear Ajay2201,
Form 11New (EPF) plays very important role in deciding whether the new entrant has to be taken into PF or not.
This form is to be taken from every new entrant and on the base of this form the company has to give correct treatment on the enrollment of PF. If the new entrant is a member of PF in earlier employment, the company has no option but to enroll him under PF even his basic salary is more than 15K. This subject is discussed here many times and this is a basic thing each every HR must know.

Thanks Mr. Kargaonkar.
If a new employee ( drawing basic above 15,000) is not a member of EPF and does not want to join EPF , then should employer forcefully enroll him ? What is in best interest of both ? As new rule is coming that employee cannot withdraw 25% until age of 58.
