Hi, I had submitted my PF withdrawal through my previous employer to the Bangalore PF office. I received an SMS that the claim has been rejected, but I have not been able to know the reason for rejection. The online portal to check the claim status is not working, and I'm unable to trace the reason for the cancellation to initiate another claim process. Can someone help in this regard?

Hi,

I had submitted my PF withdrawal through my previous employer to Mumbai PF Office. I received an SMS that the claim has been approved for payment through a cheque, with the payment under process (07/07/2015). However, almost one month has passed, and I have not received any other SMS. The claim status is not working, and I'm unable to trace the reason for the claim process. Can someone help in this regard?

Hi Deepak,

When will we fill the PF Withdrawal form, there are 2 forms that we need to fill, i.e. FORM 10 C and FORM 19. Your claim for Form 19 has been credited to your bank account, but the amount is yet to be received under Form 10 C due to rejection.

You will need to fill out Form 10 C again after finding out the reason for rejection. To inquire about the reason, you may contact the PF office using the helpline number mentioned on their website.

Is there any deduction in provident fund amount, if we are claiming it before 5 years?? also, do we need to fill form 15g to save any deductions?

Hi,

I have submitted a PF withdrawal form at the Regional Office, but it got rejected, and the error shows as:

Claim-Form-10C (EPS Withdrawal/SC) (Withdrawal Benefit / Scheme Certificate) Claim id - THTHA0000 Member id - THTHA*00000*** has been rejected due to: DATE OF JOINING WRONG./OK

Claim-Form-19 (EPF Final Settlement) (Resign) Claim id - THTHA0000 Member id - THTHA*00000*** has been rejected due to: DATE OF JOINING WRONG./OK

However, the Date of Joining in the UAN portal and the form submitted for settlement is the same.

Please guide further.
