Manager-Legal Job Description:
Handling cases involving the following laws
Prevention of Food Adulteration Act (Food Safety & Standards Act),
Weights and Measures Act & Packaged Commodity Rules,
Drugs and Cosmetics Act, Insecticide Act, FPO, Consumer Laws,
Negotiable Instruments Act, VAT, Excise & Service Tax, IPR’s - Trade Mark, Patents, Copyrights, Constitutional Law matters,Property transactions & registrations,
Contract Act, Drafting of various Agreements, MOU, J.V, C&F, Exp. in contracting disputes, litigation, settlements, briefing counsels, liasioning with Govt. authorities, FDA, Police etc.
Involved in the Standard Operating procedures, Formulating and adhering to the Legal Compliance checklist and submission of monthly MIS, taking care of litigation work, drafting and filing of writ petition, affidavits, statutory notices, replies, legal reviews, monitoring pending cases, due diligence, factory auditing, licensing, vetting of contracts, documentation, registrations, renewals, for TPU’s, depots, branches, filing objections for passing off/ infringement, advise to nominees & extensive research for New Food Products Compliance with latest amendments, circulars and gazette notifications in Standards & Labeling under the P.F.A.rules, SWAM, Drugs & Cosmetics Act, FPO, BIS, HACCP, USFDA standards for food, ASCI Advertising standards etc.
Exposure to the following courts/tribunals
Well versed with practice & procedures & Appeared and pursued matters in all these legal forums: Supreme Court of India, High Courts & District Courts.
Min 7 years of work experience in the same.
