Human Resources (HR) itself is a very vast subject. Hundreds and hundreds of books and articles are available on the internet in e-form. Start from basics such as the evolution and growth of Human Resources from the Industrial Revolution of Britain to World War I onwards. Once you grasp the fundamentals and basics, you can understand the changes that have taken place in the past two decades, especially after the IT revolution. Search on CiteHR and generally on the internet. Look for works by Indian authors so that you can learn more about the development and growth of HR with a specific focus on India.

Best wishes.
