Hi,
I received a negative BGV report on my diploma from my previous company three months ago, stating that my institute was not approved by UGC. I have completed my diploma, graduation, and MBA subsequently. However, the job requirement at my current company was for a diploma holder, so I chose not to include my graduation and MBA details in my CV during the interview and was selected. Later on, they rescinded the offer. Now, the same company has another position suitable for me that requires a regular graduation and MBA degree, which I possess. Can I reapply with my graduation and MBA degrees, omitting my diploma from the CV and using a new email and contact number? Will this approach work? Will they be able to uncover my previous situation? (I never joined the company; I only received a job offer letter, and the BGV report was negative before my start date). Please advise!

Dear Nishk,
It is not a crime to apply for a suitable post in any company regardless of whether you have applied earlier. If this time, your graduation degree is valid and your MBA institute is recognized, you may reapply for the post. There is no need to hide the Diploma matter. Whether an institute is recognized or not, you have earned a diploma. It would be unethical on your part to hide this. If they somehow find out, there could be terrible consequences for you.
Maybe you can write a good cover letter with your job application, highlighting your positive points. Simultaneously, look for other job opportunities. Best of luck.
