Dear All,
Greetings!
I am working as a Regional Manager with a service provider company for Visual Merchandising. We provide this service pan India and always have openings for non-skilled employees for the position of Visual Merchandiser. For this position, the minimum qualification required is 10th/12th grade or under-graduate level.
Based on the company's experience, advertising in local newspapers has not been very effective. The Turnaround Time (TAT) for replacements is very low. Candidates of this profile are not readily available on job portals, and my company is unwilling to seek assistance from local manpower service providers or consultants. The pressure from the clients to whom we provide this service is exceptionally high. Despite having very low attrition (2%), it is challenging for me to maintain an updated pipeline of candidates.
I am primarily facing this issue in Surat, Raipur, Bhopal, and Jabalpur. Can anyone suggest the right way to manage all of this?
Thank you.

Dear Rupesh,
You may visit each of these places and organize brainstorming sessions with the VMs hired by you. They may provide better ideas on where to procure the candidates. Tell them that they will be paid some referral allowance.
In Bangalore, I have noticed that many pizza outlets have boards or banners advertising manpower requirements. Can you do this? Please check with the client.
Visit schools and colleges to post notices about your manpower requirements.
Thanks,
