Hi! I Am Working Here In KSA As Fire Alarm Technician For Two Years. My Contract Is Three Years And Will Be Over This Year.
Thus, I Would Somehow To Request For A Salary Increment And A Yearly/Annual Vacation (Every 2years Vacation On The Previous Contract). Or Otherwise, I Will Not Going To Renew/Continue My Service After My Contract End.
I Would Also Like To Include Into My Request Letter (If Only Possible) About My Salary Problem Before. My Agreed Salary Was 2,200 (Basic Salary)+ 500 (Food Allowance). Unfortunately, I Have Only Received 2,200 + 200 (300 Discrepancy). And It Took A Year Before It Was Resolved. And I Was Told There Is A Refund But Don't Have Any Until Now.
Please Help Me To Constract A Letter!!!
Thanks And God Bless..

To,

The designated official of the company on his official position

Dear Sir,

Re Contractual terms and conditions of employment

I have been employed/appointed by your organisation as----- and have been working for the last ---- years. My contract is going to be concluded as on ------.

I would like to request you to renew my contract for a period of ----- years.

Also I would request amendment of terms and conditions of employment

.Following amendments are suggested

Annual vacation every year instead of once in two years.

Annual salary increment.

It is requested that my excellent service in the last two/three years may kindly be considered and these amendments to contractual terms may please be taken up for incorporation.

The nature of my job requires constant alertness and vigilance and giving annual vacation would make me more productive and be beneficial to both myself and the organisation.

Kind consideration may please be given to my requests.

I have given rough draft.

But how are you sure they will renew your contract.

Put up your requests for betterment of terms in polite manner and never tell the company otherwise i will leave.

Best of luck.

Thanks and appreciated..
But im planning not to renew my contract unless otherwise they'll grant my request. As i observed, as much as possible my employer dont allow thier employees to exit. In our situation, upon the expiration of contract if they dont receive any request from our end they will consider that you will continuing the service. Without any other/new contract to be made.
This is funny, but really happening.
Then, how about if i include my previous salary problem (as i've mentioned) to my request as a basis, so that they will consider my request?? Would it be possible???
Please advice and thanks!

My suggestions;
Do not include too many topics in one letter.
Previous salary problem can be subject matter of another letter.
As far as contract renewal is concerned, speak to them first.
Put up a letter requesting for the above terms as you wanted-annual vacation, increment etc.
Put up your request in a manner which informs them that these terms if accepted will enable you to continue to work for the company.
Some thing like this can be expressed.I request to kindly consider granting increments on yearly basis and a vacation period of ----- days.
This will enable me to work with your organisation with renewed vigour and enthusiasm.
It has to be tackled with finesse and subtle manner.
Your demand for vacation increment has to be framed in cautious and diplomatic terms.
