Hi Anish,

I am Anish. I was selected as an HR executive in a private organization for the Patna branch one month ago. Now, my senior HR has asked me to arrange an ESI meeting at our office. I am a fresher, and the previous HR who left did not hand over all the HR records. Could any of you explain the procedure to arrange this meeting? It would be greatly appreciated if any seniors could guide me.

Thank you.

1. Sir, I may request you to please elaborate on the purpose of the so-called "ESI meet at your office." If you want to know the procedures as laid down under the ESI Act and the rules/regulations framed thereunder, you can contact the Branch Manager or Social Security Officer of the Branch Office of ESIC to which your unit is attached.

2. The employers' associations generally arrange such meetings for a particular area. Therefore, you can also take up the matter with the Regional Director of ESIC through the employers' association of the area.

Dear Harsh,

First of all, thank you for your reply. The main purpose of organizing an ESI camp is that we recently conducted a huge recruitment drive and hired many employees. In order to enroll all of them and complete their biometrics, we are arranging this meeting.

Please let me know if you need any further information or assistance.

Thank you.

Sir, you can discuss the issue with the Branch Manager at the Branch Office of ESIC to which your unit is attached. The appropriate office to take action for issuing Identity Cards to insured persons is the said Branch Office.
