Dear Sri S.R Balaji,
Very good presentation.
In the initial slides in almost every slide there is a reference to a story or event.
I could recognize David and Goliath. Do you have the details of the rest to complete the presentation?
Devanagri script is also included in some slides towards the end.
If you had given English spelling (as transliteration ) then everyone could have read the same.
Again had there been English translation everyone could have understood what has been presented.
In slide 27 Discipline is shown to add up to 100. By the same way ATTITUDE also adds up to 100 !!
A=1, T=20, T=20, I=9, T=20, U=21, D=4, E=5.
In Cite HR postings this has come up many times and I am happy to bring it one more time.
ATTITUDE is certainly a topic that can be discussed and enjoyed any number of times.

Dear Sri Raghunathan

Thanks for your feedback and comments.

I have tried to collect the following :

MOTIVATIONAL STORY: BALLOON MAN

There was a man who made his living selling balloons at a fair. He had ballons of many different colours, including red, yellow, blue and green. Whenever business was slow, he would release a helium-filled balloon into the air.

When the children saw the balloon go up, they all wanted one. They would come up to him, buy a balloon and his sales would go up.

All day, he continued to release a balloon whenever the sales slowed down.

One day, the balloon man felt someone tugging at his jacket. He turned around and a little boy asked, "If you release a black balloon, would that also fly?" Moved by the boy's concern, the man replied gently, "Son, it is not the colour of the balloon, it is what's inside that makes it go up."

Are You Sitting on Acres of Diamonds?

inShare

I have been getting lots of inspiration lately from children’s books, however today I came across a story that was too good not to share.

Have you heard the story Acres of Diamonds?

diamonds-3

There once was a farmer who lived in Africa and became very excited about looking for diamonds. Diamonds were already discovered in abundance on the African continent and this farmer got so excited about the idea of millions of dollars worth of diamonds that he sold his farm to head out to the diamond line.

He wandered all over the world, and as the years slipped by, constantly searched for diamonds and wealth- which he never found. Eventually he went completely broke and died.

Meanwhile, the new owner of his farm picked up an unusual looking rock about the size of an egg and put it on his mantle as a sort of curiosity. One day, a visitor stopped by, saw the rock and couldn’t believe his eyes! He told the new owner of the farm that the “funny looking rock” on his mantle was about the biggest diamond that had ever been found!

The new owner of the farm responded with, “Heck, the whole farm is covered with them” – and sure enough it was.

The farm turned out to be the Kimberly Diamond Mine… the richest the world has ever known. The original farmer was literally standing on “Acres of Diamonds” until he sold his farm. (Story popularized by Russell Conwell)
