The gratuity calculation is as follows: Last Basic salary divided by 26, then multiplied by 15, and finally multiplied by the number of years in service.
Note: If your service duration is 6 years, 6 months, and 1 day or more, it should be calculated as 7 years of service.

From Feb 2008 to Jan 2014, you have completed 6 years. The period from Jan to Oct 2014 does not qualify as a year since the working days do not amount to 240. Hence, you will get gratuity that should be calculated as follows: 4890 / 26 days = Rs. 188.08. You will get gratuity for 90 days (at 15 days for 6 years): 188.08 * 90 = Rs. 16927.20.
