Can a employee be sacked on non-performance ground without any notice, immediately on spot ?
case analysis:
this employee is a supervisor of a small process in the production unit and his carelessness has caused major problems in the production, can he sent home without any notice, showcause notice, etc.
there are lost of complaints against him for misconduct with employees, though not complained by workers themselves. what to do in this situation? :?: pls give your suggestions and opinion.

Sacking ( sounds abhorrent) or Discharing on ground of "Loss of Confidence" is only possible. May invite long-drawn letigation.
Think of suspending him pending enquiry and Imm Issue a Charge-sheet / Explanation Letter stating precise act of misconduct this time. Hold Domestic Enquiry, and based on the findings give proportionate punishment. Instant Anger is no solution.
For previous acts of misconduct, were any action initiated?
