I was employed with a private organization for 2.5 years and had a PF account. Now I am employed with a Government organization where PRAN has to be opened instead of PF, and here I have been employed for the last 1 year. Can I transfer the funds lying in my PF account to my PRAN account? Or can I withdraw the amount by signing in Form 10c as I am not employed?

Dear Atanu,
PRAN is for NPS. To the best of my knowledge, you cannot club the amount lying in your PF account with the existing PF account of a Government Organization. It is better if you withdraw the amount by filling Form No. 10 C and Form No. 19.

Sir, thank you for your vital comment. I will be withdrawing my PF this month, and the PF account was opened in July 2010 (4 years 3 months). What are the deductions that I can expect from my gross amount.
