Person has to learn certain things by attending class room lectures, by attending course or by reading course material and by practicing it in very structure way.
You can not drive a vehicle on asking some one how to drive it unless you had undergone driving school. One can learn driving by practicing it with the help of some books and material on how to drive the vehicle. Mind well, everybody can not do this. It is an exception, extremely in my view.
I hope this example is good enough to understand on what I want to say.
