Hello,
I am a beginner in the HR profession. My query is related to HR Retention. My first question is how one can identify the "Tell-Tale" signs of retention needs in an organization. How can one understand that an employee is trying to leave the organization or is searching for other options outside?
My second question is how we can avoid this situation. What are the retention strategies other than money or salary hikes? What changes can be made in HR policies?
Thank you.

It depends on many things, as per my understanding. Work environment and individual career focus play a major role. If you can help your employees get promotions or involve them in the core of their responsibilities, it might help your employees not to consider leaving your company. Why should you know whether your employees are leaving? Just make sure you have a good in-house HR team. Retention strategies could include a 3-month notice period where most of your employees would not frequently consider trying opportunities outside the company.
