Respected Seniors,
I have completed my MBA in HR this year. I got an opportunity in a Real Estate firm for an HR Executive profile. During the interview, they said that my only responsibilities are Attendance Management and MIS Reports. They are offering me quite a good salary as a fresher as well. Here, I am really confused about deciding whether to go for this job or not. Please help me decide whether it will be good to start a career as an MBA fresher.

Dear Red Express,
These two aspects are also integral parts of HR. The only issue is that they are now incorporated into the Admin profile. There is no value addition if you only perform a mechanical job; you need to enhance these positions by innovating the reports and data.
Before accepting the opportunity, determine if there is job rotation within the company or if you will be performing the same tasks year after year. If they cannot guarantee job rotation in writing, you may want to reconsider taking on this role. However, if salary is the sole factor influencing your job choice, then go ahead.
