At the time of joining I had signed the Bond with the company for 3 years service with 6 months notice period. I worked for the company almost for 2 years. Two months back i resigned from the company and ask them to waive off the 6 months notice period as because my dad health was not so good. But i didnt get the reply till 1 month after many emails and reminder they mailed by that "they will try to relieve my till may end". but i stand clear to them and replied them i will work till 1st weeek of may then it would not be possible for me to come and join the service. Till date there were no letter or anything came from there side.
But recently after my one more reminder for my reliving Email, I got a letter from the company that you have resign from the company work only for 1 month so as per the bond of 6month notice period you are liable to pay the 5 months of the salary to the company then only you wold be relieved.
Kindly anyone suggest me what can i do further?

Hi,
1. you signed the bond for 3 years before that relieving called breaching of agreement.
2. As per your agreement signed by both parties, and what terms and conditions written, in that way it should process.
3. as you told your father health condition was bad, this subject concern with humanity.
4. try to do mutual understanding and negotiate the term.
5. they are legally strong because they have your signed agreement.
