I received an offer from TCS, but I previously had a court case. Recently, I obtained a Police Clearance Certificate (PCC). Can I use this PCC as proof for my background check in TCS? If anyone could kindly provide me with information on this matter, it would be greatly appreciated.

Please suggest me that will the PCC be effective to proof that I do not have any criminal record?

Dear Anonymous, You claim you had a court case. Show the copy of the judgement which is in your favour or you can show the PCC which itself shows that nothing in pending against you.

Dear friend,

I wonder how the BGCK could unearth a court case if any is pending. Incidentally, was it a civil suit or a criminal case? If it were a civil suit, you will have nothing to worry about. On the other hand, if it was a criminal case, did you mention this to TCS? Nevertheless, I don't think you will face any problem if you voluntarily submit the PCC to TCS, as it might clear the air. Probably, you should check with their HR whether you should submit it voluntarily since you have it now. It also depends on how serious the court case was; much would depend on the veracity of the case/charges, if any, framed against you.
