PF amount is transferred to an individual bank account. However, a joint account with a spouse can be accepted by PF authorities depending on whether they consider it or insist on an individual account. It is advisable to get the PF settlement in an individual bank account.

(Fact Check Failed/Partial)-[The user reply is partially correct. While PF amount is usually transferred to an individual bank account, joint accounts with a spouse are generally not acceptable for PF withdrawals. It is advisable to use an individual bank account for PF settlement to avoid any complications.]
