I am working as a H.R Recruiter in a Company and I posted Job advertisement in our cafeteria where employees of another company (same building) used to come for the lunch,as I am getting mails from the H.R of that company to remove that AD as it shows that we are we are targeting there employees, Kindly suggest what to do????????????//

Hi, They advised you in correct way, delete that Ad, it shows you are doing head hunting.

Suggest that you remove that from the cafeteria. Instead put it on the notice board in the work area where it will be visible to all employees so that your employees might refer some candidates from their reference.

Posting any thing in our own premises/property is not an offence, as other companies employee use to come to your organisations cafeteria , then there nothing to worry about logically, but as an employer they may assume as there employees come for lunch in your cafeteria , hence you have intentionally posted that add to attract other employees.
Normally as it is an organisations space hence you can post things as per your wish or need, but being ethical and master employer do not post such advertisements, as some how, somewhere it is damaging a bad image of company.

I strongly second Mr. Manish Srivastava, it is your premise and you are at your own will to put any advt. If the HR of other company is very much concerned about their employee, then they should allow their employees in your company's café. Similarly if any job posting is advertised in any media do we require any competitor/neighbor company's permission
