Can anyone plz give me detail explanation distinguishing between 'exempted' and 'excluded' employee under EPF Act, 1952

The definitions as provided under section 2(f) in the Act as wel as in the Scheme is very clear. As per these definitions, Excluded employee is an employee over which Act is not applicable by virtue of conditions stated therein while an exempted employee is that employee over which Act is applicable but because of exemption granted by The Competent Authority,His PF is to be managed by the Trust to whom such an exemption has been granted
