If the model standing orders are applicable to your co. having strength of workmen beyond 50, then it is not mandatory to having certified standing orders. In case you want to make some special provisions or add few more clauses of misconducts or some other such clauses, only then you have to make amendment to the standing orders and get them certified by following the due process prescribed by law
