What are the common traits or qualities that an intervewer looks for while interviewing a fresher in the organisation?

how well you know about yourself, your abililty to adapt to a situation , your inovative thinking,your communication skill, your presenatable attitude, your convincing attitude,your domain knowledge and ofcourse how well you can cope up with stress.

You should also check for the freshers plan for future and his family background, this helps in understanding his social placement and traits of thinking and action. future plans are important to understand his level of thinking about himself, does he really understands where he stands, e.g many fresehrs tell me they want to be PM's in 2 years, which we know is not possible, here we understand how inclined he is in developing his technical skills, we can also gauge his interest towards management, which helps us understand or imagine his future positions in the company.
Take care of a freshers interest in money, and if he is using your company as a training center or a launch pad.
Good to take some kind of time commitment from these guys if you are putting them on an imp project.
