I am Lokesh my mother in law was working in State Government and she passed away. When we applied for PF claim, it was rejected by PF office by saying there is no nominee mentioned by the Employer. So in this case what is the process to claim the PF. Is there any possibility to pay pf contribution by the employer without nominee details to pf office, when the employee joined newly to the organization.

Dear Lokesh,
If she was the gov. employee Then, they must have taken nomination details from her. it is mandatory & even if in case, if she had not given, then logically & legally her children will be eligible to get the amount subject to all evidence.
You can check with concern authority at her office. They can definitely give you the solution on the same & as they may different process compare to Pvt. Ltd.
