Dear All,

My name is Bhavya. I was working as a Front Office Executive with an MNC company. I want to transition out of the Front Office Executive position. I was also responsible for handling admin activities at the office. Currently, I am not employed. Essentially, I am looking to progress in my career. I would appreciate your valuable suggestions for my career.

Thank you.

I will conduct a public workshop on "Developing Management Skills for Secretaries and Admin Staff" on 27-12-2013 in Bangalore. The program is quite suitable for you. One topic is career development as well. You are welcome to attend. Please confirm your email ID, and I shall send the workshop brochure to you.

What is your educational qualification? Build upon your education, pursue a higher degree, maybe an MBA. It seems that would be the best thing you can do for your career.

If you need to earn right now, take up a job and enroll in a part-time course or else join a full-time MBA. Any skills you develop will open far fewer doors than a degree certificate at this stage.

Hi Bhavya,

Please review your resume, make any necessary changes, and post it on job portals at least twice per day. Also, gather resumes from your superiors who have experience in administration and receptionist roles. Additionally, consider learning management skills and pursuing certifications if possible.

Thank you.
