Hi,

I have been working with TCS for 1.2 years as a contract employee through a third-party company. My contract period is 1.6 years, and I need to work with a fixed salary during this period. I have been selected for Tech Mahindra, and the company wants me to join in a month. However, my payroll company is refusing to grant me early relieving. They have been very rude to me when I requested early relieving, demanding an amount of 2 Lacs. I have consulted with my TCS management, but they are unable to assist me. I cannot afford the amount requested by the payroll company. I am considering approaching Tech Mahindra with fake relieving, as my work experience is genuine, and I am confident in my abilities. Please advise me if this is the right approach and what other options are available to me.

I am concerned about the background verification process by Tech Mahindra. Will I be blacklisted if caught during the background verification? Please provide me with all possible options promptly and guide me on the correct way to join Tech Mahindra.

P.S: All education-related documents are in my possession.

Don't ever think of making a fake letter for relieving, as it may escalate the situation from bad to worse. Just review your contract letter and check the conditions for early relieving. It must include certain conditions, such as the notice period, etc. Please describe its conditions as per the contract.

Also, you can simply consult with Tech Mahindra HR if your employer or a third party is not willing to grant you early relief. See what they suggest or advise.

Do not adopt shortcut measures. Tell your current employer about the new offer (no need to inform the employer's name) that you would like to be relieved earlier. Simultaneously, meet the HR of your prospective employer and describe your current situation and try to explore the possibility of extending your joining period. If you think of making fake documents, one day you shall be caught and you may even lose your current job and future prospective job.

Best of Luck,
