BPO falls Under Bombay Shop and establishment Act,as BPOs are the business units that are not listed in any specific category.Therefore it is an establishment that is registered under the said act.

Your query seems to be whether BPOs are covered under Minimum Wages Act under which the State Government notifies minimum wages specifying basic an+ special allowances every six months. Ans. - Yes, Your BPO is registered under Shop & Commercial Establishment Act, absolutely you have to pay the salary as per under category of shop & Comm. Estb.
