Please advice as per Bombay Shop Act is the Notice period buyout to be calculated on Basic or Gross.
In our organisation, we process Leave encashment or settle notice period for involuntary separation on gross hence I assume the same norm can be applied for buyout. Anyhow I am keen what is the defined legal norms to be followed by an organisation.
