hi im doing BCA and want to do post graduation in human resource management.. i want to know the difference between the 2 year and 1 year PGDHRM..which is more preferable? im from mumbai.. please help.. thank you. im planning to do a 1 year course..i am very confused. please help me.

Instead of doing PG diploma on HR better if you go for MBA in HR. As concern as duration, In a 2 year diploma or MBA most of the module of management will covered and the speciaisation will be in HR but under PDHRM you will have only HR module covered.

Since you are in Mumbai, you can think of pursuing 2-year MMS course offered by Mumbai University conducted by reputed Institutes like Jamnalal Bajaj or Sydenham instead of going for 2-year PG diploma programme, more so in view of your future plans, if any , for doing Ph.D in management. Iam not sure whether PG diploma programmes will be considered for Ph.D. Please enquire and take a call, keeping in view all possibilities and your future plans.
