Dear Pankaj
The Factories Act is a labour welfare legislation, enacted to regulate servcie conditions of workers in a factory by making provisions for health and safety more so when the factory carries on any hazrdous process or uses dangerous machines in manucaturing process. Thus Sec.7A of the Factories Act stipulates the duties of occupier in general. Clause (c) of Sub-section (2) of section 7A requires that the occupier shall provide information, instruction, training and supervision as are necessary to ensure the health and safety of all workers at work. The Factory Rules of the States enumerate various health and safety measures for thesafety and welfare of the workers. For example as per Maharastra Factory Rules, the occupier of factory carrying hazardous processes, shall have persons trained in First -aid procedures and dressing etc at Occupational Health Centres. You need to go through the Factory Rules of your State to find out the areas in which you need to train in health and safety issues.
