Tell us more about him. You must have observed him for a while. What are his triggers? What makes him angry or irritated ?
From India, Mumbai
He wants perfection but as a fresher how can it be possible ?

There is no particular way to make someone Happy. Everyone is different and may like diffrent things, Some may like hard work, dedication while some just flattering. You have to oberseve and decide by yourself how you can make happy. Oberserve what he likes and how you can manage him, yes manage (and this is an ART)
Thanks
Sam.

Dear Samswish, I think you are absolutely right... I need to observe..

Dear vipul,
You have an excellent opportunity in hand. The MD is your unpaid trainer to a more professionally groomed 'you'.
You are a fresher , hence there is no limit for you to learn.
Each time your MD does something observe closely ,what he does to ,make it free of error. I mean if he is drafting an email, probably he would edit it thrice . If he has to deliver a speech or even any work, he would constantly check with the team for updates. He is senior, hence his level of effort is far less, as he has already achieved the proficiency .
Groom your self and train as much as you can in every direction. Identify a senior at your office who have the patience and is good as per the MD's standard, request him/her to mentor you. Seek feedback from your MD when he is in a good mood .
What are the areas where he went irate with you ?
