Hello,
Yes, a current employee can withdraw the PF amount, but to some extent. For that, there is Form 31 for the application of advance. By filling out this form, you can take out some money from your PF account. You have to provide a reason and proof, such as for the purchase of a plot or for a marriage. This way, you can withdraw the PF amount.

Dear Member,
It is not possible to withdraw 100% of your contribution. However, for purposes such as marriage or children's marriages, you are eligible to make a withdrawal. Additionally, for house construction, you can withdraw after completing 7 years of service. In this case, you can withdraw up to 95% of your PF contributions without the need for repayment.

Yes, it is legal in some cases for an old employee who has been working for years to withdraw a part of their Provident Fund (PF). In such a situation, the employee can submit an application with a proper reason for withdrawing the PF. After approval, he/she can withdraw the amount from their PF.
